apps?

i'm sure i can't, but is there any way to remove certain apps that came with the phone? i don't use facebook or the nuance app.
also, has anyone had problems downloading software/freeware from the interenet?
i'm still a relatively new palm user and need a little guidance:)

You would need a custom ROM for this, otherwise you cannot uninstall apps that came with the phone. For all other apps (the ones you installed) I prefer Destaller Lite. Its user friendly and free.

i'm not sure what a ROM thingamajig is, but i've decided to just live with em:)

good plan...if you are not sure what a rom is, (that's okay) but you probably shouldn't be attempting anything involving a rom and your phone.

Also, you can use the freeware "hide application panel" app (available at http://discussion.treocentral.com/showp ... ostcount=4) Whai it does is install itself into the "Prefs" panel so you can "uncheck" the programs you do not want to appear in the launcher. Hope this is helpful.
