Now those who know me know I am not one to gloat and I’m pretty sure those who would say otherwise have already been taken care of… ahem… anyway, that being said I feel like jumping up and down like a giddy little kid right now. Why, you ask? Well, I’m glad you did.

I just received the invitation pictured above in my e-mail inbox. Apparently it’s from Sprint inviting me to an exclusive Pre launch party on June 5th from 6pm till midnight where I will be “among the first to purchase the Pre before it hits the street. Mix and mingle with celebs and enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine and music while taking your new Palm Pre for a spin on America’s most dependable 3G network.” For a fanboy such as myself, this is huge! I’ve already RSVP’ed, of course. Like you wouldn’t have?!

I don’t know how many Sprint Premier Customers were invited to this event (I’m sure they can’t accommodate all of us) nor do I know how many of these events will be held across the country. For obvious reasons, I’ve removed the address from the invitation I posted above. Last thing I need is to have my invitation rescinded solely on the basis that I let the world know where my local Palm Pre launch party was being held. Rest assured though, I will be working for you. I’ve already contacted the person listed on my invitation and asked if I could bring along my camera. If I am allowed, you all are guaranteed pictures and video that very night.

Not much more information there than on the invitation except it says the celebrity appearances will be from 7:00-9:00pm and that the valet service will be complimentary.
