Sprint just sent out this email to their customers, at least the ones signed up to receive emails from Sprint. It’s just a courteous reminder that the Pre arrives tomorrow and that… you should all go buy it immediately! As the email states, Sprint stores will open early, at 8am, tomorrow so hurry because I’m sure, in this case especially, the early bird catches the worm.

I was totally excited until I started to read some reviews…the first unsavory reviews I found, actually. I’m having to rethink this a little bit, because I’m reading things like: “poor battery life”, “no video camera”, “unusably small keyboard keys” and such. I know there will always be haters, but if those things are true, it’s gonna be hard to convince myself to make the jump and be one of the guinea pigs.
Thoughts?

If you having second thoughts, don’t buy one. That’ll be one more for me to get.

On Gizmodo’s review matrix, only 1 review out of 5 said the keys were unusable. The rest said they were good.
You can easily test one, everyone’s going to have a different opinion. And the video camera was known for 6 months now, I don’t see why the reviews changed your mind. If you’re unsure, then don’t get it, but are you really going to let one review’s opinion of the keyboard and no video stop you?
None of the reviews called the battery life as bad as the G1. You’ll need to charge every night. Big deal.

I think that the user experience will be just fine. The best investment that Palm ever made was hiring Jon Rubenstein. I am so expectantly waiting, I feel like a soon to be dad.
