If you’ve been having fun downloading new message tones via email links using the loophole in webOS software your fun has come to an end with the OTA webOS update 1.04 which has provided security fixes for the operating system.

The apps I have downloaded still work however. I guess I can’t get any more though…bummer.

It doesn’t suck guys, it was a MAJOR security hole, pretty risky stuff.
They haven’t done anything to block homebrew apps, nor they seem to have any interest on doing it.
